This is a Python client library for Ably. The library currently targets the Ably 1.1 client library specification.

Installation
The client library is available as a PyPI package.
From PyPI
pip install ably
Or, if you need encryption features:
pip install 'ably[crypto]'
Locally
git clone https://github.com/ably/ably-python.git
cd ably-python
python setup.py install
