Ericsson Partners with IIT Madras for Responsible AI Research
In a significant development, Ericsson has entered into a five-year partnership as a ‘Platinum Consortium Member’ with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ Centre for Responsible AI (CeRAI). The agreement was inked during an event held at the IIT Madras campus.
Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Ericsson Research is set to actively support and engage in all research endeavors undertaken by CeRAI.
CeRAI, a virtual interdisciplinary research center at IIT Madras, envisions becoming a premier research hub for both fundamental and applied research in the realm of Responsible AI. Its primary goal is to immediately impact deploying AI systems within the Indian ecosystem.
The center’s focus areas include ethical and responsible AI research. CeRAI aspires to become the authoritative body in India
